The minute I saw this piece, I new it was a one of a kind. The attention to each tiny detail is remarkable. everything from the intricate pieces on the jewelry to the sunlight coming through the tears in discords wing is amazing to the eye. through the whole piece you can still feel the flow of colors, everything blended so elegantly that nothing looked like it didn't belong. This is by far some of the best work of this genre that I've seen in my life. I simply can't wait to experience more of this impeccable artist's stunning masterpieces.
a piece so epic my wide screen telivision can hardly contain it...
where do i start? the masterful choices in colour? the attention to detail? the absolute magnitude of the piece?
i am no artist. i cannot draw, but i know a good piece of art when i see it.
the vision is one that leaves me almost breathless, the choice in characters and the homage to warcraft come through loud and clear.
while not very orginal (it is a homage) i think everything else more then makes up for any points lost in originality.
the technique is just...my brain cannot fathom the work that must of gone into this, i tip my hat to you.
and the impact...well i think it's obviouse how much of a impact this has been on me. i wrote this because it was like a sledgehammer to my cortex. just wow.
O________________O HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF GRAVY, THIS PICTURE IS AWESOME!!! Discord, Nightmare Moon and the dog guy from the Daring Do book (I forget his name) look so epic and badass and evil. Celestia is gorgeous. And I'm guessing that one other guy is Starswirl the Bearded...awesome!
